Fostering Excellence, Scholarship and Leadership in Nursing

Epsilon Zeta has a long history of fostering excellence, scholarship and leadership in nursing!

Thank you to our wonderful membership. If you are not already a member, we hope you will consider joining our chapter and invite your colleagues to do the same.  Epsilon Zeta actively partners with the GMU School of Nursing Doctoral Student Organization and the College of Health and Human Services to support scholarly pursuits.  In addition to our Spring Induction Ceremony, Epsilon Zeta offers at least two annual events, one in fall and one in spring.  We are actively seeking grant proposals as well.

  • Emerging Leaders and Scholars

    Sigma Theta Tau and the Doctoral Student Organization present the George Mason University Class of 2019 Doctor of Nursing Practice Students in this poster presentation night as they present their work to improve health and health outcomes through innovation of practice change, translation of evidence, and implementation of quality improvement processes.
  • Graduate Nursing Mixer a Success

    Sigma Theta Tau Episilon Zeta Chapter and the Doctoral Student Organization partnered to host a successful Graduate Nursing Mixer at "O George!" on December 4, 2018
  • Research Grant Money Available!

    Consider applying for a research grant from Epsilon Zeta! Our chapter awards grant proposals on a competitive basis depending on the quality of the written proposal and significance to nursing. Preference for funding will be given to members of Epsilon Zeta Chapter. Other factors affecting funding will be the amount of funding requested, the research fund budget, and the number of quality proposals received.
